Faith Diary lets you use its core recording features without an account. An account is created only when you choose to register for optional cloud backup. This page explains how to delete that account and the data associated with it.
After successful deletion, account access and access to the cloud backup through the app are removed. Cloud Storage soft-deleted copies may remain temporarily as explained below. If deletion reports an error, follow the in-app guidance or contact the developer; do not assume an incomplete request has deleted everything.
If you cannot access the app, send a request to the developer using the address you registered with, and include that account email address in the message. The developer may need to verify that you own the account. Do not send your account password or backup password.
Request account deletion by email
If the button does not open your email app, use this template:
To: qhdgk71@gmail.com Subject: Faith Diary account deletion request Account email address: Please delete my Faith Diary account and all associated cloud backup data.
To request deletion of only your cloud backup while keeping the account, state that in your email.
Deleting your cloud account does not delete records stored only on your phone, so you can continue using your journal without cloud backup. The developer cannot access or erase that local data remotely. Uninstall Faith Diary or clear its app storage in Android settings to remove the app's private local data.
Backups, PDFs, verse cards, or other copies you exported or shared outside the app must be deleted separately from the locations or services you chose. Deleting a cloud account does not cancel or refund a Google Play purchase; Google Play retains its payment records under its own policies.
Successful in-app deletion removes app access immediately. Verified email requests are processed within seven business days, with a reply when completed. Soft-deleted backup copies and provider security or service records may remain temporarily under the provider's policies, bucket settings, and applicable law.
